The Opportunity

My client is looking to add an experienced Building Surveyor / Engineer / Construction Manager with subsidence experience, to their team. You will be required to cover the South London region.

On a Daily Basis You Will Be

• Building pathology – identifying causes of damage and construction defects, assessing repair requirements
• Project managing the reinstatement of damaged buildings relating to insured perils
• Investigation and resolution of subsidence projects
• Understanding of buildings insurance policies and insurance law
• Specification of site investigations and interpretation of geo-technical reports
• Building construction and foundation systems
• Application of statutory requirements
• Health & Safety Legislation & CDM Regulations, Party Wall etc Act
• Administration of building contracts and related contract law
• Project management of building works onsite, valuing and authorising contractual payments and agreeing variations. 

What’s needed for me to be considered?

You will already have the required surveying experience together with professional qualifications; However experienced professionals with industry experience will also be considered.
