Senior Infrastructure Specialist – Cloud

We have a very exciting opportunity working with a world-renowned London based Arts institution where you can join a bright team of specialists working within the IT team. If you are an experienced and personable IT Infrastructure specialist, we want to hear from you.
The salary ranges between £44,000- £48,000 with a fantastic range of benefits including up to a fantastic 19% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday (plus bank hols and additional closure days) maternity, paternity and adoption pay.

The Role:

  • Develop and maintain the clients cloud, computing and storage capabilities.
  • Act as cloud computing subject matter expert for colleagues.
  • Create and maintain an Operations Manual for all things cloud computing to make sure all servcies are well documentated.
  • Record, assess, implement and review any technical changes in line with the standard management process.
  • Create and lead the Cloud compute and storyage improvement plan.
  • Increasuring the maturity of the clients IT Security and ensuring IT readiness for Business Continuitiy.
  • Provide general support for all Infranstrucure Services to make sure all current and future user needs are met.
  • Comply with all of the clients policies and procedures in teh cloud computing environment.
  • Lead and manage projects which may include upgrades or implementing new services.

About You:

  • Hands on experience with cloud computing and storage technology inluding, Microsoft Azure, Virtualisation, Windoes Server and Linux.
  • Varied experience within IT infrastructure including services such as Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience managing new software implementation projects
  • Knowledge of the innerworkings of IT Secruity including current threats and the ability to apply this knowledge to make sure the service remains secure.
  • Great problem solving skills, able to work independately to provide solutions to issues.
  • Previous experience working in a customer service oriented role
  • Great communication skills, able to liaise with different stakeholders professionally and personably.
  • Strong time-management skills, you are able to stay organised to meet multiple ongoing deadlines.
  • A team player, able to work with your colleagues to get projects over the line.
  • It would be a great plus if you have any certification in any of the software that is required for this role.
