Our client, a Lloyd’s Broker based in London (City), are looking to recruit a Senior Claims Executive to provide an efficient, high quality and reliable claims service, including technical, broking and administrative for all aspects of the business within the claims team.
Main duties will see you:
- Liaise with clients and provide appropriate advice on claim procedures.
- Liaise with Underwriters, Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Solicitors and colleagues on claims.
- Attend meetings with clients, Underwriters, Loss Adjusters and colleagues as required, ensuring that accurate meeting notes are kept (if required).
- Authority to settle straight-forward claims up to agreed handling authorities granted by Lloyd’s Underwriters.
- Broking of claims to Underwriters within the London Market (Lloyd’s, LIRMA, ILU and company markets).
- Recognise circumstances that require referral to appropriate authorities (staff, Underwriters, etc.).
- Create claims records on the company database, diary claims to request updates ad keep financial records up-to-date.
- Record and submit claims bordereaux
- Record and analyse claims data spreadsheets.
