Our client, are an established MGA who specialise in construction liability and have grown from three founders to 17 staff within their 10 years of trading
The role is office based near Romford, Essex.
The role involves underwriting transactional risks in accordance with the binder parameters laid down by our insurer partners.
Underwriting functions to include but exclusively quoting new business cases and renewing existing policies primarily on contracting business.
Primarily quoting new and renewal construction and contracting business for all sections of cover such as Public/Products Liability, Employers Liability, Contractors All Risks, Excess of Loss, Material Damage, Director’s & Officers, Legal Expenses and Professional Indemnity.
Working closely with the Head of Construction to develop broker and Insurer accounts throughout the UK.
Promoting the groups products to brokers via telephone and broker office meetings.
Ensuring that the company’s processes are correctly followed and that all actions/decisions/communications are correctly noted on the system to ensure clarity of decision process and make these available for audit.
To work within the industries and the Company’s standards regarding Treating Customers Fairly and Conduct Risk to ensure that your work is compliant at all times.
