Fixed-Term Contract Recruitment Advisor

Davies Resourcing are working with a London based professional services business, currently just outside the top UK top 10 professional services businesses, with ambitions to grow and achieve a spot in the top 10 within the next year. As a result of this, the business is looking for experienced recruitment professionals, to join them and be a part of this exciting growth period, and to support the business in recruiting top level talent across a number of business areas. The organisation is based in the City of London, and operating on a hybrid working model.
 
This is a fixed term contract position paying a competitive salary of up to circa £50,000 per annum, and reports into the Recruitment & Resourcing Lead. The purpose of this role is to deliver an organised, efficient and professional recruitment service to the business. This role will support the Senior Recruitment Advisor and Resource Manager. The Recruitment Advisor will work closely with the business to help source candidates for a specific area. They will be responsible for developing job specifications, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, managing the relationship with recruitment agencies, advising on the appropriate advertising strategy, leading interviews with line managers (providing constructive challenge where appropriate) and overseeing our recruitment portal. Candidates for this role must have strong experience leading on recruitment campaigns ideally within a professional services or partnership-based business.
 
Key responsibilities held in this role will include:

  • End-to-end delivery of experienced hire recruitment across the business
  • Supporting the Senior Recruiter by headhunting directly for key business areas across the firm
  • Managing the PSL to meet our growing needs
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies on new candidate submissions; ensuring CVs and other submission materials are logged, circulated appropriately for consideration, and dealt with in a timely manner   
  • Providing regular updates on recruitment to key stakeholders
  • Creating engaging recruitment material to post both on social media channels

 
Essential skills & experience required for this role include:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, either agency or in-house 
  • Extensive experience headhunting from LinkedIn 
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to progress multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise workload and maintain effective systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • A confident communicator, able to deal comfortably and credibly with staff at all levels, both internally and externally   
  • Takes ownership of own workload and development
