My client is a well-regarded, recently established fully-licenced online-only global fin-tech company, with a national presence in the UK. They are looking to innovate the industry with their incredible tools and support that are accessible to all customers. Being comparatively young in the industry they already have 3 million customers and are growing at an exciting pace. This growth is supported by incredibly talented employees with a vast amount of knowledge in their respective fields. They are looking for highly-skilled, like minded individuals to help continue their expansion.

THE ROLE
 
My client is on the search for a Finance Manager who would work as part of a small but growing team taking on the wide and varied range of responsibilities involved in creating and producing management information for senior stakeholders.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce monthly management accounts which would include preparing Income Statements and Balance Sheets which would be presented to board members.
  • Calculate and reconciliate the revenue streams of the company and ensure all information is correct and appropriate.
  • Help in the review and implementation of new budgets and forecasts into monthly reporting.
  • Assist with statutory audits for the company.
  • Work closely with the Finance and Treasury teams as well as the rest of the company.
  • Provide assistance to the Accounts Payable team.
  • Act as a point of support for junior team members and assist with their development.

ABOUT YOU

  • Prior experience in working Financial Services is essential, ideally in Banking or an Audit Practice.
  • You are able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Very strong analytical, numerical and excel skills.
  • You are a qualified accountant, ideally with a qualification in ACA or ACCA.
  • Previous experience in working with trial balances and report building using financial data.
  • You are able to work independently without much guidance with strong communication skills.
  • You have very good organisation skills being able to meet multiple on-going deadlines and a keen eye for detail.
