View this job Apply nowOur Client is a recognised network Broker who work currently with over 70 independent brokers (partners/AR) throughout the UK. and due to increased growth are looking to recruit up to 3 Account Handlers/Brokers to join their very stable team based in Leicester.
The role is seeking a experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handlers who have gained 2 years+ current broking experience and are seeking an environment that will offer support and direction to progress your career further
Responsibilities will include servicing accounts for both the new business and the renewal process.
This includes preparation of presentations to insurers using OPen market options, MGA’s and Lloyds market if required, dealing with MTA’s, Renewals and new business administration, negotiating with insurers and building a strong rapport with the Appointed Representatives/Partners/Brokers
Your tasks will be…Prepare renewals, new business, mid-term amendments and client information presentations
Negotiate premiums and terms with insurers
Respond to client queries and keep Acturis system updated at all times with accurate information
We need you to have…You must have at least two years’ experience as an account handler with strong communication and negotiation skills. Ideally you will have a broad product knowledge range with good existing relationships with insurers.
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
Worked within a broker for at least two years dealing with commercial insurance products
Risk aware in handling customer information
Good customer service focus with the ability to build a good rapport
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Takes initiative when assisting team members
Strong negotiation skills
