Davies Resourcing are working with a leading Insurance specialist who are currently in an exciting period of growth and expansion. As a result, they are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their finance team in Halesowen. You will be managing client funded bank accounts on behalf of all Claims Management teams and their clients, producing monthly Claims Management reconciliations and statements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Bank postings and reconciliations.
  • Code and enter overhead invoices on to the system.
  • Manage the company payment account, posting and allocating cash to the correct accounts.
  • Process daily policy entitlement payments.
  • Process daily complaint payments in a timely manner.
  • Undertake weekly transfers of client monies to associated bank accounts.
  • Raise Purchase Ledger Debit Notes.
  • Complete bi-monthly payment processes via system and online banking.
  • Monitor and control client accounts and client funds.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation queries.
  • Actively promote the principle of Treating Customers Fairly.

Skills & Experience:

  • AAT Qualification (desirable).
  • Sage 50 and MS Dynamics experience (desirable).
  • Good reconciliation experience.
  • Strong Excel skills.

The role is office based, however there will be flexibility to work from home after your initial training is complete.
